Honey chicken for dinner was a success!
I used our local Simon Hartwell House honey 🍯 from Boxborough, MA. Best honey I’ve ever had. It is like liquid gold to me and I can taste and appreciate all the hard work these worker bees have done. 🐝

I just googled honey recipes and found the site iheartnaptime.net with a Honey Chicken Slow Cooker recipe. I had to adjust since I didn’t have all the ingredients (and I doubled the recipe) but it came out great. 🙂

Honey Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe:
3 pounds Chicken breast
1 cup honey
3/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Pinch of onion powder
4-6 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked on low for about 4 hours

Goes well with rice or quinoa. We had it with green beans but will try it with broccoli 🥦 next time.
